We know the bare bones of John Ingersole's life. 

We know his parents and where he came from.  We've seen his description, and read his official details. 

But there are many unanswered questions.  

What ever happened to John Ingersole's wife Ann and their six children he left behind in England when he was transported?  Did at least one of them - maybe two - come to Australia?   

And who are the people in the faded photographs?
